In the early hours of Tuesday morning (5 November), a bicycle was stolen from a home in Heuwelkruin.
Allsound Officers identified the suspect from CCTV footage available and an alert was broadcast to Knysna safety & security partners.
At 16h00, members from Niqua Security spotted the suspect and detained him. Allsound Officers responded and the suspect was taken to SAPS for questioning following reports that he had sold the bike.
The suspect provided the details of who he sold the bike to. Allsound Officers accompanied Knysna SAPS members to a property in White Location where the stolen bicycle was recovered.
