The committee is pleased to inform you of 2 new camera sets that have been erected very recently. Both sets are at very busy intersections and welcomed by Allsound as important “eyes” in our area. We work very closely with and rely heavily upon Allsound in this regard.
The 1st is on the corner of Handel & Lloyd (Upper Lloyd).
On this set we have added an additional camera to monitor activity on the very secluded “dead end” of Agnar, just above Lloyd. This plugs an important gap.
The 2nd set is on the other side of the neighbourhood at Templeman & Edwards. This is an important intersection, particularly in the dead of night.
Both camera sets are fitted with newly available “artificial intelligence” which automates movement within defined parameters, making threat identification so much easier and user friendly. Good results have already been rendered.
We are in the process of also fitting this same new AI technology on 3 of our other camera sets across the neighbourhood. This comes at an extra cost which we feel is money very well spent to enhance our crime fighting ability on our fairly comprehensive network of cameras. We, of course, wish we could fit the same facility to all our cameras, and would also like to see a few more important new camera sets in the near future. Money is always the limitation so we continue to work tirelessly toward this end.

If you know of any neighbours that may not be OWLS members as yet, please help us by spreading the word of the work we do and the value we offer to all our residents. We need to expand our membership and personnel is our greatest limitation, so any help you can give us in this regard would be most appreciated.
