Knysna Municipality has employed Ntiyiso Consulting to conduct a door-to-door survey. The purpose of this exercise is to verify all the customer information and take pictures of the water and electricity meters. This will assist the municipality to send correct accounts to residents. Ntiyiso Consulting has employed 2 field workers in your ward.
All residents in Knysna are humbly requested to give their full co-operation during the door-to-door survey. The information required will only be used to update the Knysna Municipality’s financial records and will not be used for any other purposes (i.e. marketing or election campaigns.)
The field worker must be able to present his/her identity card to any resident that requires it. Should he/she not be able to present his/her identity card please do not allow them at your premises.
These are the questions that will be addressed when visiting the properties.
- Property information: Erf No, physical address, property usage
- Occupant information: Name, ID, contact details and other relevant information;
- Owner information: Name, ID, contact details and other relevant information;
- Electricity Meter: Serial number and reading, faults;
- Water meter: Serial number and reading, faults;
- Refuse Bin information: Number of bins per property;
